About

Makaya Stanke
PresidentÂ
I'm Makaya Stanke, a 21-year-old college student, studying Zoology, who loves the color pink and has a huge passion for animals. I pride myself in being the oldest of 6 siblings and currently have 8 pets. Through this project I have been inspired to continue on with pageantry and spread my mission throughout Wisconsin. I was recently given the title Miss Wisconsin Sweetheart and compete for National Sweetheart in September.

I had this dream since I was 17 when I lost Axel. I was given the opportunity to create the No Animal Left Behind Project when running for Fall Festival Royalty when I was 19. I never expected my small idea to become an official nonprofit, but thanks to friends and families here I am. Axel's memory gets a chance to live on.Â
About

Elizabeth Amundson
Vice PresidentÂ
I grew up on a hobby farm in Cashton, WI. We raised chickens, cats, and cows. We had inside cats, fish, a dog, and ferret. Now, my husband, daughter, and I have two large dogs. I use my love of animals to help with the No Animal Behind Project.Â

Makaya and I met in the 1st grade and have continued being best friends. Makaya was even my maid of honor in my wedding. She told me about her dream and asked me to help her, which I said, "Of course". I support Makaya in and outside of her project and am glad to be working with her on this.Â
